Subpage Styles

Overview

Look for the page called "Style Guide" to see all the site styles available for the Carmichael theme

The content editor allows you to add different formats to your page content: headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, etc. Your theme comes with predesigned styling (color, font, size, etc.) for these different formats.

Some of these styles can be added via the Format drop down in the content editor. Some of these are added via the special snippets editor available on your theme.

Buttons

To insert a button select the "Insert/Edit Button" green icon and choose your button settings.  You can choose the style, size, text, and icon.

Snippets

Clicking on the yellow star will open your Snippets editor. The options below are available in your snippets tool.

Tabs

To insert a tab snippet into a page or section select the "Insert/Edit Snippets" icon and select the "Tabs" option.  You can update the content from the code view below the preview or use the page source view once the code has been inserted.

Example HTML:

<div class="tabs">
<ul>
<li><a href="#tabs-1">Tab 1</a></li>
<li><a href="#tabs-2">Tab 2</a></li>
<li><a href="#tabs-3">Tab 3</a></li>
</ul>
<div id="tabs-1">
<p>Proin elit arcu, rutrum commodo..</p>
</div>
<div id="tabs-2">
<p>Morbi tincidunt, dui sit amet facilisis feugiat.</p>
</div>
<div id="tabs-3">
<p>Mauris eleifend est et turpis.</p>
</div>
</div>

Monklet Tabs

You can also use the monklet "Section Monklet - Tabs" that allows you to use a link list to power your tabs instead of using the Snippets option.  Once you create a link list you can insert this monklet into the desired section or content area and then use the find tag to define which link list to use with the monklet.  The find tag should be the name of the link list in lowercase with dashes in place of spaces.

Example with a link list "Tabs Example" - {{section-monklet-tabs|find="tabs-example"}}

*NOTE - The description field of the link list will display as paragraph text.  If you would like to have a full html section content for a specific tab you can do so by creating a section with the desired content.  Once created you will place the slug of the section in the corresponding link description field with curly braces.   If you create a section labeled "My Tab Section" the link description field should contain the slug as {{my-tab-section}}.

Accordions

To insert an accordion snippet into a page or section select the "Insert/Edit Snippets" icon and select the "Accordion" option.  You can update the content from the code view below the preview or use the page source view once the code has been inserted.

<p><a class="btn btn-primary" href="#">Call To Action</a></p>
</div>
</div>
</div>

Section Monklet - Callout

You can also insert a callout via monklet. This allows you to use a link list to display a callout or rows of callout sections and also makes it easier to display images with your callout.

  • "Name" is the heading
  • "Icon Class" inserts an icon in the heading
  • "Description" is the summary/description text
  • "Button" Text is required to display link button
  • "Image" is used in the right column

Highlight Text

To insert highlighted text into a page or section select the "Insert/Edit Snippets" icon and select the "Highlight Text" option.  You can update the content from the code view below the preview or use the page source view once the code has been inserted.

Example HTML:

<p class="highlight-text">Special highlight text option for sections</p>

Full Width Images

If you would like to display an image inside a column at fullwidth of the column container you can add the class "responsive-image" to the image tag.

To do this, add your image to the content of your page/section. Once the image has been inserted, select the image by clicking on it and then pressing the button in the toolbar that looks like this: "< >", which is the source code. Once the source code is opened, you will then need to locate the img tag for the image that you are working on and add the class of "responsive-image" to the tag. Once you are done the tag will look like this:

<img class="responsive-image">
