Subpage Overview

Templates

  • The "Subpage Default" is the default layout for your subpage and displays the page content with a sidebar on the right. The "Style Guide" page has been setup using this template to display all the default styles/options available for your site.
  • The "Subpage Fullwidth" template is also available and displays the page content at full width of the page container.
  • The "Index" template works  the same as the Subpage fullwidth, but is reserved for your home page.

Choosing a Template

Go to Websites > Pages > Add a New Page (or select an existing page)

When creating a new page, the "Template" field will have the "Subpage Default" template selected as the default. You can select the dropdown menu to change to the "Subpage Default" template, if needed.

Page Settings

Page Title

The page will automatically display in the header image area (above the content area if no header image is used). The checkbox "Hide Page Title" removes the title and tagline from the page.

Page Description

The page description field is optional and can also be used to help with SEO.

Header Large Height

Displays the billboard/header area at the large screen height

Header Overlay

This check box option will add a blue gradient effect overlay to your header image, so the text overtop is more visible.

Header Text

This will add content over-top of your static header image or background video. This works the same as the page content field, so you can include text, buttons, etc. The text will display centered as the default.

Note: If this field is used, the page title and header tagline will automatically be hidden.

Meta Title

Used for a custom meta title tag in the head of the page.

Meta Description

Used for a custom meta description tag in the head of the page.
