Custom Twitter Feed
Overview
Your custom Twitter feed displays as a section on your homepage and is managed under Content > Sections. Two separate sections are used for this custom feed:
- Twitter Section: controls the "Follow Us" content on the left side of your custom homepage section
- Home - Twitter Feed: pulls in the content from the "Twitter Section" and displays the feed on the right side of your custom homepage section
Twitter Section
This section is where you can manage the content displaying to the left of your Twitter feed. Everything within this section is controlled in the Content field: "Follow Us" title, text and button.
The Twitter bird icon will not be visible in the content field but is part of the code. If this icon is deleted from the section, you can add the code below to the top of the source code:
<h1><span class="icon icon-twitter"> </span></h1>
Note: Please do not change the "Twitter Section" title, as this works in conjunction with the "Home - Twitter Feed" section outlined below.
Home - Twitter Feed
This section controls the actual Twitter feed displaying on the right side of your custom homepage section. Within this section, the following fields are used:
- Description: your Twitter handle for the feed
- Content: uses a monklet tag to pull in the "Twitter Section" on the left side and the feed on the right
- Background Image: controls the image behind the feed
Note: Please do not change/remove the Content field for this section, as this works in conjunction with the "Twitter Section" outlined above.
Homepage Settings
Within your Index page, you will see the "Home - Twitter Feed" section selected in the Sections area. This is pulling the custom Twitter feed section onto your homepage. You can adjust the order of the sections, but you'll want to make sure this section is included in one of the dropdowns.
