The second subpage template you can use is "Subpage Fullwidth", which displays your page with no sidebar and full width sections.

*NOTE - The index.php is your home template and assigned automatically to your home page.  This templates operates the same as your "Subpage Fullwidth" template with the addition of the logo artwork that displays at the bottom of the header image.  Any of the home/fullwidth sections can be used with this template, as well.
