The timer in the header will count down to the next event that has the "live service" category assigned (under Events > Events). These can be one time or recurring events.

The "live" version will display once the start date/time occurs. After the end date/time for the event has passed, the timer will resume counting down to the next event or recurrence that has the "live service" category assigned.
