Overview

Your School Subsite consists of duplicated templates. These work the same as the original template, outlined below. Any pages on the School site must use school specific page templates. 

Homepage

Your Subsite - Index template is your school's homepage. This can only be used once. The Subsite - Index works exactly the same as your site's Index - explained HERE.

Subpages

You have two subpage templates, which can be used as many times on the School site as you'd like. Subsite - Subpage Default works the same as Subpage Default (explained here)  and Subsite - Subpage Fullwidth works the same as Subpage Fullwidth (explained here). 

Layouts

All layouts work the same as layouts on the main site. 

  • Any layout that has pre-set link lists  or sections where you set up content (like the 'Next Steps 1 - Announcements' link list) has a corresponding 'Subsite ____________' link list (i.e. 'Subsite -Next Steps 1 - Announcements').
  • Any layout that pulls from certain modules (like Events or Articles) will need to have items published to the group "School". This ensures the item will show up on the subsite and not your main site.

'Subsite - Articles #2 - Childcare' works the same as your Articles #2 (explained here). Articles must be assigned the Childcare category and be published to the School group.

'Subsite - Articles #2 - Resources' works the same as your Articles #2 (explained here). Articles must be assigned the Resources category and be published to the School group.

'Subsite - Events #3' works the same as your Events #3 (explained here). Events must be published to the School group.

'Subsite - Ministry #1' works the same as your Ministry #1 (explained here).

'Subsite - Newhere #3' works the same as your New Here #3 (explained here).

'Subsite - Next Steps #1' works the same as your Next Steps #1 (explained here).

'Subsite - Special Event #1' works the same as your Special Events #1 (explained  here).

'Subsite - Staff #3' works the same as your Staff #3 (explained here). Staff Groups should be set up in the series School Staff Groups, School Staff Groups Featured, School Staff Groups Pastors.
