Providers

Overview

This custom layout displays provides in a map and list format. Selecting a provider directs to the detail page.

This layout used the Branches module to manage the list of providers: People > Branches. Each provider will need to be added as a record in this module.

Landing Page - Map View

The map view includes an option to filter by zip code, as well as the option to adjust the location radius for the search. Selecting a location/map marker will display the location details and providers at that location.

The location info is managed in three areas:

  1. Physical Location - controls the actual map location. This is managed under Settings > Locations. The location address is managed here.
  2. Location Category - this is managed under People > Branches > Categories tab. The locations need to be added under the "Locations" parent category and assigned to the respective providers in the Branches list.
    • Note: the "location" category title must match the location entry name for the physical location.
  3. Location Page Link - to add the link for the separate location pages on the map view, this is managed under Settings > Link Lists > Providers Locations. The name and link fields are used.
    • Note: the "location" name in the link list must match the location entry name for the physical location.

Landing Page - List View

The list pulls from the providers in the Branches module and will display the image, name and title. The Location (category) information will display on hover.

The following fields are used: 

  • Name
  • Categories (location and specialty)
  • Physical Address (managed under Settings > Locations)
  • Logo (photo)
  • Position

Filters

The "Name" filter pulls from the record (provider) name in the Branches module.

The "Location" and "Specialty" filters are managed under the Categories tab. All new categories should be added underneath one of these parent categories, and the list will update based on the selection of these dropdowns.

Detail Page

Selecting a provider on the map or list view will direct to the detail page to view the provider information.

The provider details will pull from the same records in the Branches module, and the following fields will display on this page:

  • Name
  • Logo (photo)
  • Position
  • Description (optional) - will display above the tabs
  • Tab - Location - controls the content for the "Location" tab content
  • Tab - Services - controls the content for the "Services" tab content
  • Tab - Training - controls the content for the "Training" tab content
