To edit the homepage, you will go to Content > Pages > INDEX in the CMS.

You can set either a header image, rotator, or header background video. The text over the header image displays form the Title and Subtitle fields. The button and button link is set using the Button and Button Link fields.

The header image field should always have an image loaded and will be used as a fallback for mobile if a header video is set on desktop.

This section uses the {{homepage-location}} monklet.

It pulls a list of locations from People > Branches module in the CMS. To change the order of the locations, you can update the number in front of the campus name, ex. "1.Campus Name". In the branch edit page, there is a field called "Title" to define the name being displayed.

This section uses the {{homepage-sermon}} monklet. You can use the "description" field of the section to set the parameter for this monklet.

There are fields in the section where you can customize the look and feel:

• Background color: Changes the background color for this section. This uses a hex code value.
• Dark background: Turning on/off will let the code know if the background is dark or not. If it is dark, text will be white.
• Fullwidth container: Expands section to 100% width 
• Background image: Sets an image as a background
• Parallax Background: Sets the parallax effect. Background must be an image for this to work.

This section uses the monklet {{section-monklet-next-steps}} to display a link list in the two column formatting. You will add a new link list by going to Content > Link Lists > Add a New Link List in the CMS. You can add the title, subtitle, description, link, button text, and embedded video code from either Vimeo or YouTube. Once you have your link list added, you can use the find parameter to tell the monklet which link list to display:. Ex: {{section-monklet-next-steps|find="next-steps"}}

This section uses the  monklet {{homepage-featured-events-monklet}} to show 3 featured events.

This section uses the monklet {{homepage-article}}. You can use the "description" field of the section to set the parameter for this monklet. To display knockout text on the image, use these custom fields in the Article:

• Knockout title
• Knockout subtitle
• Knockout Button
• Knockout video: This is linked to a video in the CMS
• "Talk to Someone" link

NOTE: This was updated to always display the "Watch" button.

You can add or remove any additional sections that you want on the homepage. There is currently a placeholder section for Hurricane Harvey Relief, but you can use any other section monklet or free form content in this section.
