Just like your main navigation (more here), your School's navigation is set up in the Navigation tab of the Pages module (Content > Pages > Navigation tab).

Anything you set up as a normal navigation item will appear on the main site. Anything set up under the Subsite navigation item will appear on the Subsite site. Please remember to use only pages using Subsite specific templates for pages on the Subsite.
