The articles template displays a featured rotator at the top with a list of all articles below. The buttons can be used to filter the article list by category, and selecting an item will direct to the detail page will the full article.

This layout can be re-used and the layout will pull in whatever parent-category of articles is needed. Just set the page category of the page in question to match the desired parent category: Resources, Stories, etc. A matching category is needed in the Articles module, and then any sub categories would need to be added below.  The layout will then pull articles with that parent category assigned.
