Custom New Here Template
Overview
The template will display the page header, content and section options assigned to the page when a user lands on a page with this template assigned.
This template has a campus/location select menu in the header area of the page. This will display all groups assigned to the Campuses group series. Once selected all sections (up to 9) that have a matching section category will display. eg. if a user selects the campus/location "Fort Collins" all sections with the "Fort Collins" category will display. The sections display in alphabetical order of the section name so a naming convention is used re. "New Here - Fort Collins - 01", "New Here - Fort Collins - 02", etc. where the New Here - Campus - (two digit order number is used).
All section monklets outlined in this guide are supported for this template.
NOTE: this layout can be reusable and will require a specific naming convention for categories assigned to each section. Please refer to the "Section Categories" info below.
Section Overview
For the campus sections on your new here template, the naming convention for each section will follow this format: New Here - Fort Collins - 02
- New Here - page name
- Fort Collins - campus name
- 02 - section position when selecting Fort Collins on the new here page
The description field in each section will display as the section title.
The rest of the section can be setup using freeform content and/or monklets, as well as the section options outlined here.

Section Categories
Each section must have a category that includes the page name + campus, and the page name part of the category MUST match the actual landing page name where the section will be used.
ex: New Here Layout: I'm New - Fort Collins
To setup new categories, click add another category > create a new category. In the "name" field, add the matching page name - campus title and choose "new here template" as the parent category. This will link the section to the corresponding page and the specific campus in the filter dropdown of the page.
The new here sections outlined below are specific to the Fort Collins campus, but the same would apply to Windsor and Old Town.
WELCOME VIDEO
The video is managed in a link list: Content > Link Lists > Welcome Video - Fort Collins. There is one item in the list list, and the video needs to be selected under the "videos" dropdown in the Link field.
This section uses a two column setup with a monklet on the left to show the embedded video and content in the section on the right.
Within the section, the monklet is titled "Section Monklet - Linklist video border" and the "find" inline parameter is used to pull in the specific link list with the Fort Collins video.

EVENTS
Events > Events
This events monklet pulls the latest events by campus group. The "find_group" parameter needs to be added to the monklet to specify the campus.

Your events are synced in the cms from CCB, and the group specified in the monklet needs to match the campus group pulling in with your events (see below).
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Content > Articles
This articles monklet displays volunteer opportunities by campus group. The "find_group" parameter needs to be added to the monklet to specify the campus.

These articles need to have the parent "Volunteer" category assigned, as well as sub categories under "volunteer".
On the publish tab, the respective campus group needs to be assigned.
ANNOUNCEMENT ROTATOR (LINK LIST)
Content > Link Lists > New Here - Announcements - Fort Collins (you will need to create a separate link list for the other campuses). The link title is the heading, the description is the callout text and the button text is required to display the link button. The image is 1,366px wide by 842px tall.
Within the section, the testimonial monklet is used and the "find" inline parameter is required in order to pull in the specific link list.

LATEST MESSAGE
Content > Sermons
This sermon monklet pulls the latest message by campus. Within this section, the "find_group" parameter needs to be added to the monklet to specify the campus. The two buttons are also managed in the section.

Within the sermon module, each sermon needs to be published to a campus group (see below).
SMALL GROUPS
Events > Small Groups
This groups monklet pulls small groups by campus. The "find_group" parameter needs to be added to the monklet to specify the campus.

Your small groups are synced in the cms from CCB, and the group specified in the monklet needs to match the campus group pulling in with your small groups (see below).
