Viewing Groups Map

This map shows a list of states on the left, and users can click on a state to see a list of viewing groups within that state. When a group is selected, the map will zoom into that map marker, and the viewing group tool tip will display with additional info. To zoom back out, you can click anywhere on the map.

The page is titled "viewing Groups and is using your "Ministry #1 Template No Nav" template. The page is setup using 3 different sections.

Intro Text

Section - Viewing Groups - Welcome

The title and text area managed in the content area of this section. The title is using the Header 3 style with the "sec-title" class applied.

The "Container Narrow" section class is also used.

Map

Events > Small Groups

The map will show small groups records that have the "Viewing Groups" category assigned. Within each record, the following fields are used:

  • Name - internal use only
  • Resource link - controls the "I'm Interested" link (optional)
  • Categories - must have the "Viewing Groups" category assigned
  • Location - a valid location must be used for each group. Note: the actual address will not show on the map but is required for the map marker
  • Day of the week - controls the viewing group meeting day
  • Start time - controls the viewing group time
  • Tooltip Description - controls the summary text in the tool tip popup (above the map marker)
  • Viewing Group name - controls the name of the group in the sidebar and tooltip (optional)

Within the section labeled Section - Viewing Groups, the monklet labeled "Section Monklet - Viewing Groups" is added to the content field. No other content should be included in this field.

The "Fullwidth" check box option is also used for this section.

This link displays underneath the map and is managed in the section content field. The link is setup with the Heading 4 style.
