Overview
Overview
Your site is setup for multi-site (campus) use. This requires a few campus specific items to be setup. For each campus there needs to be a matching group, church entry and home/landing page. The title for the group and church entry MUST match eg. Wheaton Bible Church will be labeled Wheaton Bible Church for its group and church entry.
NOTE - There are areas on your site that are hard coded to change the specific text to Spanish. This relies on the Spanish campus to be labeled "Iglesia del Pueblo". If the Spanish campus needs to change your site will need to be updated.
Group
People > Groups
Each campus should have a group entry. Each campus group should also be assigned to the group series "Campuses" The series assignment will help in differentiating campus groups from other groups used on the site.
*NOTE - The first group in the series will be used as the default campus.
Church Entry
People > Churches
Each campus MUST have a church entry. The church module is used to allow each campus to have specific information eg. address, etc.
The current fields used are:
- Worship address
- Website (landing page) and must be a full url (http://www.mydomain/church)
- Church E-mail
- Telephone
- Church Logo (image for the drop down menu and campuses monklet) 840px in width by 452px tall.
- Description - service times used for the locations menu and the campuses monklet
- Description Footer - service times used for the footer
Home/Landing Page
Each campus MUST have a home page created with the template "index.php". This will be used to displays the specific home header and section information for each campus.
*NOTE - There is also a stand along page labeled index.php. This is the fallback home page for when a campus is not selected. It is recommended that the header and section assignments should match the same setup as the default campus home page.
Spanish Site
The home/index.php template is the only template that is set to handle both the Spanish and the English campues. There are separate templates that force the Spanish cookie/sub site and those templates start with the labeling "Spanish". All "Iglesia del Pueblo" pages outside of the home page should have a Spanish template assigned.
