Serve Template
Overview
The serve template is based on the fullwidth page template, and the standard subpage options are available for this page: billboard/heading, content area and full width sections.
Serve Page Content
The following areas are setup as monklets and text in the content area of the Serve page (content > pages > Serve).
Stats
Content > Link Lists > Stats
The numbers will show a count up animation. Within the link list items, the "name" will show as the text and the number should be entered in the "description" field (no other fields are used). Note - the numbers cannot include characters like commas.
This setup uses the monklet labeled "Section Monklet - Stats" in the content area of the Serve page, and the "find" parameter is added to specify the link list.

Intro Text
This is setup in the content area of the Serve page (below the stats monklet). So you can add headers, buttons, links, etc.
Areas of Focus
Content > Link Lists > Serve Focus Area
The following fields are used for each item in the list: name, description, link (optional), icon class. You can see a full set of available icons here: http://elmbrook.monkpreview3.com/_assets/fonts/icons/fontawesome/
Within the content area of the Serve page (below the intro text) is the "Area of Focus" title and "Section Monklet - Icon Links" monklet. The "find" parameter is used within the monklet to specify the link list.

Serve Articles
Content > Articles
Below the page content, there are three different sections for serving in the church, community and world. Each section uses the articles module and requires specific parent categories to be assigned.
Under the Categories tab of the articles module, there is a parent category labeled "Serve" with the church, community and world sub categories listed underneath for each section.
The additional "Ongoing" and "One Time" categories are optional and can be assigned to articles as needed.
Serve - Church
This section requires each article to be published to the parent categories "Serve" and "Church". Child categories under "Church" will display with the ministry filter.
Serve - Community
This article section requires each article to be published to the parent categories "Serve" and "Community". Child categories under "Community" will display with the organization filter.
Serve - World
This article section requires each article to be published to the parent categories "Serve" and "World". Child categories under "World" will display with the location filter.
NOTE: The actual categories underneath each parent item can be changed can be edited, changed or removed, but the parent categories and the additional "Ongoing" and "One Time" should not be updated.
The campus filter (for the church and community sections) is controlled by the campus group, so you can assign the campus group to articles as needed.
Serve Events
This section displays events in a carousel. The section on your Serve page is titled "Serve - Events", and the monklet labeled "Section Monklet - Events Carousel" is added in the section content field. The "find_category" parameter is used to display the latest events with a specific category assigned (ie: serve).

The title is managed in the section content field, and the following section categories are used: "Section Options: Container - Full Width" and "Section Options: Section Dark".
