Section Monklets
Overview
Monklets are predefined code snippets that allow you to bring in other module content (sermons, events, etc.) into your pages. There are a few monklets that have been created that are placed in the content area of your page.
You can use a monklet inside a section by placing your cursor in the content area, selecting Insert > Insert Monklet > "Desired Monklet".
Some monklets allow/require inline parameters to be passed to define items from a specific group, category, etc. http://help.monkcms.com/article/using-monklets/ and https://help.ekklesia360.com/article/using-inline-parameters/ provides details on using these parameters.
*NOTE - Monklets defined with "Section Monklet" in the title can be inserted in the page content area or the content area of a section. Those with "Sidebar Monklet" can be inserted in the sidebar sections.

The direction link uses the church address and not the google map link option. This monklet also has a search for the closes location to the user. The find_group inline parameter is recommended if you have campuses that do not have addresses (re. online).

- Worship Address - controls the address field (shown on mobile)
- Service Times - desktop service times. You can use the <br> tag to break the lines as needed
- Church Logo - Should be a square image. Recommended at 1024px by 1024px.

Section Monklet - Quote Rotator
Displays a rotator from the Rotators module. The find inline parameter is required. The description is used for the quote and the sub title is the small heading under the quote.
Section Monklet - Section Columns
Content > Link Lists
This monklet displays each link entry as a column. If there are more than 3 link entries the carousel/rotator option is added. Sections are also used to support html in the columns.
1. Create a section for each column of content. The name of the section is for internal use only, the following fields are used:
- Background Color – controls the background color for the column
- Content – all of the content showing in the column pulls from this field, so you can add text, images, buttons, etc
- Background image – will show an image as the background for the column. If this is used, no color value needs to be added to the description field
2. Create a link list to group all the column sections. Within the link list, create an item for each column. The name field can just be Item One, Item Two, etc.
- The description field needs to have the slug name of the section you want to show for that item, ex: the section "Section Column Example" would have the slug "section-column-example". This is the section title but all lowercase and dashes instead of spaces. The slug title is also listed in the sections module for each item here. So the content from the corresponding section name will pull into this link list item.
3. Add the monklet to a section and use the find inline parameter to define which link list should be used.
Section Monklet - Section Selector
This monklet uses a link list to display each link entry as a select menu option. The name of the link is used for the select menu option name. The description field should be populated with a section slug. Once a user selects an option the related section content is displayed. The first option is labeled "Select a Location".
The description field needs to have the slug name of the section you want to show for that item, ex: the section "Section Example" would have the slug "section-example". This is the section title but all lowercase and dashes instead of spaces. The slug title is also listed in the sections module for each item here. So the content from the corresponding section name will pull into this link list item.
Section Monklet - Section Selector (Select Day)
This uses a link list and operates the same as the "Section Monklet - Section Selector" monklet, but has the first option labeled "Select A Day + Time".
Section Monklet - Viewing Groups
This monklet uses entries from the Small Groups module and displays a map that shows a list of states on the left that users can click to see a list of viewing groups within that state. When a group is selected, the map will zoom into that map marker, and the viewing group tool tip will display with additional info. To zoom back out, you can click anywhere on the map.
Events > Small Groups
The map will show small groups records that have the "Viewing Groups" category assigned. Within each record, the following fields are used:
- Name - internal use only
- Resource link - controls the "I'm Interested" link (optional)
- Categories - must have the "Viewing Groups" category assigned
- Location - a valid location must be used for each group. Note: the actual address will not show on the map but is required for the map marker
- Day of the week - controls the viewing group meeting day
- Start time - controls the viewing group time
- Tooltip Description - controls the summary text in the tool tip popup (above the map marker)
- Viewing Group name - controls the name of the group in the sidebar and tooltip (optional)
*NOTE - This should be added to a full width section. The fullwidth and no padding options are automatically added.
-----Billboard/Header Text Monklets
Billboard Monklet - Event Countdown
This monklet is only used for the "Header Text" option of a page. The find_category inline parameter is required to define which event to use for the timer. The timer is not visible, but when active the billboard is hidden and replaced with the event summary. The event summary should contain your livestream code.
