Messages Template

This template displays all entries from the Sermons module.  This is not a page template and is assigned in the Sermons module settings tag.  This is also linked in the Navigation tree by linking and entry to "All Sermons" option.

Content > Link Lists > "OG - Sermons"

Since this is not a page the single Open Graph image is managed by this link list for the landing.  If that is empty then the default is used.  Series OG is managed by the series image.

Fields

In addition the normal sermon fields for the title, passages, etc. you have custom fields to display HAI video and additional options

  • Group Discussion Link - powers "Conversation Guide" link
  • Haivision Audio ID - not currently used (was used on the initial build, but requested to pause the use)
  • Haivision Full Service ID - HAI vision video id that powers "Music + Message"
  • Haivision Video ID - HAI vision video id that powers "Message Only"
  • Message Video - not currently used (was used on the initial build, but requested to pause the use)
  • Sermon Custom Date - used in place of the sermon date
  • Theme Color - 6 digit hex color that is used on the landing page current sermon at the top.  This color is used as the image background color.

Landing Page Carousel

Content > Link Lists > "Messages Carousel"


To provide a custom list of sermons for the carousel a link list is used.  The name of each link must match a sermon title exactly.  This sermon will display for each match.  The link list should contain 10 entries.


Custom Preacher Filter

Content > Link Lists > "Messages Preachers"

To provide a custom list of preachers for the filter teaching pastor.  The name of each link must match a preacher name title exactly.  This pastor will display for each match.  

Content > Link Lists > "Related Series - Series Name"

The Link Lists module controls your related series area of this layout. The "Related Series -" is the same for each link list, but the Series Name portion of the link in the list must match a series name exactly and we will pull that series in as a related series to the matching series.

Sermon entry categories are listed as related topics on the sermon detail options.
