Section Monklets
Overview
Monklets are predefined code snippets that allow you to bring in other module content (sermons, events, etc.) into your pages. There are a few monklets that have been created that are placed in the content area of your full width sections.
You can use a monklet inside a section by placing your cursor in the content area, selecting Insert > Insert Monklet > "Desired Monklet".
Some monklets allow/require inline parameters to be passed to define items from a specific group, category, etc. http://help.monkcms.com/article/using-monklets/ and https://help.ekklesia360.com/article/using-inline-parameters/ provides details on using these parameters.
*NOTE - Monklets defined with "Section Monklet" in the title can be inserted in the page content area or the content area of a section.
Section Monklet - Featured Events (4)
Displays the 4 most recent events published as featured. You can use the find_category or find_group inline parameters as needed.
Section Monklet - Get Connected
Displays a link list with the custom layout.
- Name - The tab title.
- Descripion - The text in the center column. The description field of the link list will display as paragraph text. If you would like to have full a html section content for a specific tab you can do so by creating a section with the desired content. Once created you will place the slug of the section in the corresponding link description field with curly braces. If you create a section labeled "My Tab Section" the link description field should contain the slug as {{my-tab-section}}.
- Image - 732px in width by 700px tall.
*NOTE - There is a custom browser cookie in place to swap the Establish for the Equip tab if someone is a return visitor. This requires the Establish link to be first and the Equip link to be second in the link list.
